Lacquerware Modeling Exhibitation

In Japan, we have used a lot of lacquerware since ancient times. 

This artwork is created by Lacquerware artist, Natsuki Kurimoto.

Lacquer is often used for creating tableware, such as soup bowls and chopsticks, and furniture.

Lacquerware is created using the lacquer obtained by processing the sap taken from the trunks of lacquer trees.


lacquerware and lacquer crafts have also been attracting attention. Lacquerware is one of the traditional crafts in which Japan takes pride. Natsuki Kurimoto who is a famous Japanese lacquerware artist, his work is usually displayed at some exhibitation.
