Murouji Temple

Murouji is at the north-east area in Nara prefecture which is sect of Shingon Buddhism.

The head temple of Shingon Buddhism is Koyasan.

Once upon a time, a lot of Shingon Buddhism temple are prohibited to women, however Murouji is allowed. in the present. So it is called Nyonin-Koya for Murouji that a lot of women visit there to worship.

Murouji has a history over 1000 years. It is constructed at Heian-era.

The autumn leaves during this season are so beautiful, so a lot of sightseeing people enjoy to watch them.
