The Japanese Folk Toy Museum

In Kurashiki-city at Okayama pref, there are the Japanese Folk Toy museum that is exhibited various folk toys from all over Japan.

You can see a lot of traditional toys that is based Japanese folklore.

And you can purchase these toys there and online shop.



This is a dress-up doll that Japanese girls play with this from Heian era(A.D.794～1185)


There are various mask that is used traditional carnival.
