Kurabo Memorial Hall

Kurabo Memorial Hall is the ruins of Kurabo Industries ltd. that is a famous cotton spinning company in Japan.

During Meiji period (1868~1912), Japanese policy of national isolation was finised and European style was in style in Japan.


Kurabo Memorial Hall is where this history comes alive. The building housing is the raw cotton warehouse used at the time of Kurabo’s founfing that makes it a historical resource and preserving the face of the past to show to people today.


It was designated as an Important Cultural Property, there are some restaurants and a hotel that we can enjoy.
