OTSUKIMI DANGO

In japanese autumun season, we could look the moon so beautiful.

In 15th September we always enjoy to watch the moon in Japan,. We called it "Otsukimi"

"Otukimi" means viewing the moon.

We usually decorate with silver grasses and offer "Otukimi Dango" which is rice dumplings to the moon.

It is the silver glass can be house of the god and acts a charm against evil. And we offer "Otukimi Dango" in apprication for the harvest.
