Prunus Mume
In early summer season, we usually harvest Prunus Mume which is called Ume in Japan.
We make the alcohol, juice and various flavoring with Prunus Mume.
Many Japanese eat Umeboshi with a rice. We dry and pickle Prunus Mume with a salt.
In Japan, there are many Prunus Mume farm, espesially Wakayama is famous fresh Prunus Mume.
