Onigiri - A rice ball -

Onigiri is a rice ball made from white rice which is a Japanese traditional food.

Onigiri which we shape rice into a circle with Nori, Umeboshi, another foods. We usually put filling the rice ball and shape into a ball or triangle.

There is a variety of Onigiri filings and flavors example for salmon,plum,cod roe and etc.

We usually take Onigiri in Luchbox and eat it in lunch time. It is so easy to take everywhere.

In Japanese convenience store it is so popular foods.

I hear that a lot of foreign people who like Japanese comics long for which Japanese people eat Onigiri in the comics.
