The Great Buddha of Kamakura

In Kamakura-city, Kanagawa pref, there is the Greatest Buddhist sculpture representing the Kamakura period, which is about 11.3m high and weighs about 121t, is very famous as a symbol of Kamakura.


It's one of the most famous statues in Japan, a lot of foreign sightseeing people go there. We can tour the inside of the Greatest Buddha because the inside is hollow.


Big Zori are on display.

Zori are a paif of Japanese sandals consisiting ofa flat sole with a V-shaped thongbetween the big toe and other toes.
