KOKUTO DOUGHNUTS

This is Kokuto Dougnut that is a specialty in Kyusyu. It is so famous for a lot of foreign people to purchase for their souvenir.

It is a stick type that is made by blown raw sugar. Raw sugar is made from the juice of the sugarcane plant. Brown sugar has a sweetness and kick to it that is really tasted. It is said that brown sugar is healthier than white sugar.

When you go to Okinawa and Kyusyu area, they sell lots of brown sugar. Some foreigner like raw sugar in their coffee.
