Many Jpanese people eats Ochaduke which the boiled rice soaked with green tea.

We eat it various toppings such as pickled plums dried fishes.

Some people like to eat Ochaduke after drinking alcohol.


Ochaduke became popular in Edo era, 18th century. It was served as fast food for  ordinary people
